A Neosho woman suffered moderate injuries in a two-vehicle collision at 7:55 a.m. Wednesday on Missouri Highway 86, about 4 miles west of Neosho in Newton County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Martha L. Wilkins, 72, was taken by ambulance to Freeman Hospital West in Joplin.
She was driving an eastbound car that crossed the centerline and struck a trailer being towed by a pickup truck driven by Chad W. Crow, 39, of Pineville, the patrol said.
• A Diamond woman suffered minor injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 7:20 a.m. Wednesday on Route V, 4 miles west of Diamond in Newton County, according to the state patrol.
Marissa M. Bradley, 24, was taken to Mercy Hospital Joplin.
Bradley was driving a westbound vehicle and swerved to avoid another vehicle, the patrol said. His vehicle ran off the road and overturned.
• A Seneca woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 6:20 p.m. Tuesday on Missouri Highway 43, about 2 miles south of Joplin in Newton County, according to the state patrol.
Avis J. Ribbeck, 52, was taken to Freeman Hospital West in Joplin with minor injuries.
She was a passenger in a southbound car driven by Sherri L. Winters, 49, of Baldwin City, Kansas, that was struck in the rear by a southbound pickup truck driven by Brandon N. Hale, 30, of Miami, Oklahoma, according to the patrol.
