BROCKTON, MA : Car takes out pole in Brockton crash, closing street on Thursday, 10th September, 2020

A heavily traveled street remained down to one lane Thursday morning, a half-day after a car struck and snapped a utility pole, leading to lengthy repairs.

Police and firefighters responded to the area of 525 W. Chestnut St., east of the street’s intersection with Ash Street, at about 10:05 p.m. Wednesday for a report of a crash.
