TUALATIN, OR : Man riding e-bike dies in Tualatin crash An investigation is underway following a deadly crash in Tualatin early Wednesday morning on Wednesday, 2nd October 2024

A Tigard High School sophomore died early Wednesday morning after he was found near a crashed e-bike in Tualatin, according to the Tualatin Police Department.

The incident happened on Southwest 124th Avenue between Southwest Myslony Street and Southwest Tualatin-Sherwood Road. Police said a passerby saw a person initially thought to be an adult man lying on the ground near a tree, with an e-bike nearby. He died at the scene.

The victim was later determined to be a teenage boy who attended Tigard High School. His name has not yet been released.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office initially said they ruled out a hit-and-run because evidence does not suggest any other vehicles were involved.
