Beavercreek Twp, OH : OSP investigating four vehicle crash on US 35 near Orchard Lane Tuesday morning, April 5, 2016

A four vehicle crash shut down eastbound U.S. 35 near Orchard Lane Tuesday morning.

Emergency crews shut down both lanes to allow medics to get to the scene; however, as of 10 a.m., the left lane has reopened.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol tells 2 NEWS a semi truck, two work trucks, and a car were involved in the crash, but they’re still investigating what led up to the crash.

The driver of the semi-truck was taken to Soin Medical Center with minor injuries.

Lieutenant Douglas Eck, with the Xenia Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, says the driver of a dump/work truck might be responsible for the accident.

OSP says they expect to open both lanes of eastbound U.S. 35 at around 10:30 a.m.
