Oklahoma City,OK: 2 taken into custody after southeast OKC pursuit ends in crash on October, Friday 13th 2017
Two people were taken into custody Friday after a police pursuit with a stolen vehicle in southeast Oklahoma City, officials said.
Around 9:10 a.m., police spotted a 2005 Mitsubishi Outlander that had been reported stolen earlier in the day, officials said. The vehicle sped off, leading officers on a pursuit, according to officials.
The chase ended when the vehicle crashed into a curb at Southeast 44th Street and South Sooner Road, officials said.
The driver tried to get away on foot, but was taken into custody shortly after, officials said. A passenger also was taken into custody.
No one was injured, officials said.
