COLUMBUS, OH : Man dead after crash on I-70 in east Columbus on Monday, 10th June 2024

A man died after crashing his SUV on Interstate 70 in east Columbus Monday night.

According to the Columbus Division of Police, officers were called to the westbound lanes of I-70 near South James Road around 10:30 p.m.

Police said 33-year-old Tommy Edwards was driving a Chevrolet Suburban west on I-70 approaching the South James Road interchange when it swerved and crashed into the center cable barrier. The vehicle rolled into the center median of the freeway.
