Four people were hurt after a crash sent a vehicle into a pond in east Orange County on Monday afternoon.

Orange County Fire Rescue said the crash, which involved three vehicles, was reported on Econlockhatchee Trail and Lake Douglas Place just after 3 p.m.

One vehicle crashed into the pond and everyone was rescued from the vehicle, fire officials said.

According to Fire Rescue, three patients were taken to an area hospital with advanced life support and one patient was taken to the hospital with basic life support.

No other details, including what caused the crash, were immediately available.

Florida Highway Patrol is investigating.
