CEDAR RAPIDS, IA : Car driver gets 25 years for crash death of motorcyclist on April, monday 24th 2017
A 26-year-old driver has been given 25 years for vehicular homicide in Linn County.
Online court records say 26-year-old Taylor Latare was sentenced Monday in Cedar Rapids. He'd pleaded guilty.
Police say Latare was driving drunk Aug. 5 when his car rammed the rear of a motorcycle near an Interstate 380 ramp in Cedar Rapids, killing motorcyclist Gregory Erenberger. The 59-year-old man lived in Walford.
