A crash has shut down part of a major intersection in Colorado Springs.
Police reported the crash at Platte and Union just after 10:30 a.m. and involved three vehicles.
“When officers arrived they assisted all involved parties,” police wrote in their online blotter. “Multiple occupants of the vehicles, to include children, had serious injuries and were transported to local hospitals.”
Police told 11 News early into the investigation it is believed none of the injuries are life-threatening. No one involved in the crash was publicly identified by age or gender.
The intersection was back open before 12:20 p.m. and the cause of the crash is under investigation.
