St. Louis, MO : Teenage girl dies in fatal car crash Washington County on Friday February 5 2016

A teenage girl died Friday morning in Washington County after losing control of her car, officials said.
Harley S. Lawson, 16, of Potosi, was driving on Gobblers Knob Road around 7:15 a.m. when she failed to maneuver a curve. She overcorrected, which caused her 2002 Volkswagen Beetle to go off the road, overturn and hit a tree, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The fatal crash happened about 85 miles south of St. Louis.
