Fort Worth, TX : Julie Moore, 52, killed in a car wreck in Cleburne on Tuesday morning, July 26, 2016

A Keene woman was killed Tuesday morning in a crash in Cleburne, the Cleburne Police Department said in a news release.

Julie Moore, 52, was pronounced dead at 8:40 a.m. at the scene, the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office reported.

Moore tried to across several lanes of traffic in the 2400 block of North Main Street and was struck by a northbound SUV, police reported.

The SUV driver was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

The crash was under investigation late Tuesday, but no charges are expected.
