DEKALB COUNTY, GA : Infant among 3 killed in crash on I-285 in DeKalb County on Tuesday, 31st October 2023

Investigators are trying to determine the cause of a deadly crash Tuesday night in DeKalb County.

Near midnight, officers responded to a wreck involving a tractor-trailer and a truck on the exit ramp from I-285 onto I-20 E, according to DeKalb police. Captain Jaeson Daniels with DeKalb County Fire Rescue says the pickup truck driver slammed into the back of an 18-wheeler, killing the driver and two other passengers.

Police said all three victims died at the scene. They have been identified as Taraja Ramsess, 41, Sundari Ramsess, 13, and Fugibo Ramsess, 1.

At least two others were taken to the hospital, including a 10-year-old boy in critical condition and a 3-year-old girl in serious condition.
