COLUMBUS, OH : 2 police officers injured in crash on I-70 in downtown Columbus on Tuesday, 20th February 2024

Two officers with the Columbus Division of Police were injured in a crash involving a disabled vehicle Tuesday night.

The police cruiser was heading west on Interstate 70 West, west of state Route 315, when it encountered a disabled vehicle that just lost a front wheel assembly.

Police said the cruiser was not able to stop in time and it struck the wheel which rolled into the first lane of travel.
