Clinton,MI : Two-vehicle Clinton Twp. crash injures four on October, Monday 9th 2017

A two-vehicle crash Monday on U.S. 12 in Clinton Township injured four people, including two children.

Kristina Carolyn Travioli, 26, of Brooklyn was driving west on U.S. 12 near Matthews Highway at 1:36 p.m. when she rear-ended a stopped vehicle driven by Elaine Joan Hayes, 65, of Clinton, according to a report released Tuesday by the Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office.

Hayes reported moderate injuries and was transported by Clinton Fire Department rescue personnel to St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor. Travioli and two, properly restrained child passengers were treated at ProMedica Hospital in Tecumseh for minor injuries. Travioli was cited for failing to stop in an assured, clear distance.
