Two killed in Niagara County crash

Two people were killed in a one-car crash early Saturday on Porter Road in the Town of Niagara.

The SUV was traveling west on the 7200 block of Porter Road when the driver failed to negotiate the curve, leaving the road and rolling over several times, ejecting both occupants, a man and a woman.

Both were dead when first responders arrived about 3:15 a.m.. Their identities are being withheld pending notifications of relatives.

Town of Niagara Police are investigating. The Niagara County Sheriff’s Department Accident Investigation and Crime Scene Units and sate police are assisting. Town of Niagara Active Hose Fire Co and Rural Metro Medical Services also responded.
