FRUITPORT VILLAGE, MI : Fruitport man dead after single vehicle crash on Sunday 28th October 2018

Fruitport police are looking for information on a crash that left a 52-year-old Fruitport man dead Sunday afternoon.The crash occurred shortly after 2 p.m. on North Third Avenue in the Village of Fruitport.

At about 2:50 p.m., police were asking motorists to avoid northbound Third Street between Maple and Beech streets due to a single vehicle crash and a broken utility pole.

In a message released at 5:50 p.m., Fruitport Township Police asked for anyone who witnessed the crash to call police at 231-865-8477 or Muskegon Central Dispatch at 231-722-3524.
