Roanoke, VA : I-81 clear after tractor-trailer wreck backs up traffic in Roanoke County on Thursday, October 6th, 2016

A tractor-trailer wreck backed up traffic for six miles in the northbound lanes of Interstate 81 in Roanoke County on Thursday afternoon, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation's website.
The northbound right lane was closed as of 6:52 p.m. near mile marker 146 because of the wreck. The traffic backup had cleared by 8:54 p.m.
