Authorities say one person has been killed and 16 have been injured after a Charlotte city bus collided with two other vehicles.
Local media outlets report that Charlotte-Mecklenburg police haven't said what they believe caused Monday evening's deadly crash in uptown Charlotte. The names of the drivers, the person who died and those injured had not been released, as of late Monday.
According to paramedics, two of the injured people had very serious injuries. Authorities have not said which vehicle the deceased person was inside.
A Charlotte Area Transit System representative says police are examining dashcam video taken from on the bus. The representative says the bus driver will not be allowed back on the road until after the investigation is over.
