LAS VEGAS, NV : Driver arrested for hit-and-run after deadly crash in southwest Las Vegas on Thursday, 29th August 2024

A driver was arrested on suspicion of hit-and-run after a deadly crash in a southwest Las Vegas neighborhood Thursday night, police said.

The crash was reported around 9:20 p.m. on W. Maule Avenue east of Pearland Street, near Fort Apache and Sunset roads, according to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police.

Investigators believe a BMW M4 was heading west on Maule when it struck a woman who was trying to cross the street.
