MANATEE COUNTY, FL : Motorcyclist killed in fatal Manatee crash on Tuesday, 3rd April 2018

Sean Kunkle, 26, of Hudson, Florida, was killed in a fatal accident Tuesday night.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a Chevy Avalanche was making a u-turn on U.S. 41 south of 69th Ave. W. In the process, the Avalanche came into the path of Kunkle, who was driving a Kawasaki motorcycle. In an attempt to avoid the truck, Kunkle’s motorcycle overturned and struck the right side of the truck. Kunkle was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and two passengers in the Avalanche were uninjured.

An investigation of the crash is ongoing.
