FRANKLIN, PA : Clarion County man killed in Venango County crash on Tuesday, 11th December 2018

A Clarion County man was killed Tuesday night in a two-vehicle crash in Venango County.

Willard A. Conner, 65, of Rimersburg, was pronounced dead at the scene by Venango County Coroner Christina Rugh following the crash, which happened on Tuesday at about 6:15 p.m. on Route 322 in Rockland Township, the Pennsylvania State Police in Franklin reported.

According to troopers, Conner was driving a Dodge Neon east on Route 322 when his vehicle traveled into the westbound lane and struck a Saturn Aura that was traveling west.

The driver of the Saturn, 42-year-old John J. Michael, of Emlenton, was taken by ambulance to UPMC Northwest for treatment of unknown injuries. Three passengers in Michael’s vehicle were not injured in the crash, according to troopers.

Route 322 was closed and traffic was detoured around the crash scene for two hours after the crash.
