Butte, MT : Authorities ID victim of fatal crash near Ennis on May, Wednesday, 10th 2017

The victim of a fatal crash just south of Ennis on Wednesday has been identified as Amy Detwiler, 25, authorities said.

Madison County Sheriff Roger Thompson said Detwiler’s cause of death was blunt force trauma to the head after she crashed into a wooden fence and a post impaled the windshield. Thompson said police are still piecing together the cause of the crash, but said alcohol did not appear to be a factor.
