ATLANTA, GA : Georgia State Patrol trooper killed during crash in the line of duty on Sunday, 28th January 2024

A Georgia State Patrol trooper was killed Sunday afternoon during a crash in the line of duty, according to state officials.

On Monday morning, the Georgia Department of Public Safety identified the trooper as Jimmy Cenescar.

Trooper Cenescar has been with GSP since Jan. 2023 and was a graduate of the 114th Trooper School, DSP said.
