Los Angeles ,CA : Four people injured after catering truck crashed into a tree with large bee hive on Sunday ,June 7th 2015

Bees made it hard for emergency crews to get to four people injured in a crash in Los Angeles.

Police say a catering truck crashed into a tree with a large bee hive in the West Hollywood area.

According the fire department, first responders pulled three of the people from the car as dozens of bees swarmed the vehicle.

All four of the victims were taken to the hospital.

At least one of them was in serious condition.

"There was blood coming out of the thing. Their faces were completely broken,” witness Adam Anderson said. “One of their legs were broken I think. One of them were unconscious, I believe. So I'm just praying to God that they are all right."

Police have not released the identities and the ages of the victims.

They say they do not know what caused the truck to crash.
