McCurtain County, OK : Broken Bow man killed in McCurtain County crash on Sunday, 19th August 2018

A Broken Bow man died Sunday in a McCurtain County crash, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

Anthony Yanez, 28, was pronounced dead at a hospital in Paris, Texas, following a crash about 10:30 p.m. on a county road about 4.5 miles northeast of Idabel.

Yanez was a passenger in a pickup driven by Shaylia Cobb, 26, of Broken Bow, that went off the road and crashed into a tree. Cobb and passenger Stephen Whitemore Jr., 28, of Broken Bow, were taken to a hospital in Texarkana, Texas, where they were treated for injuries.

No one in the crash wore a seat belt.
