Motorcycle crash in York Co. kills 1

A motorcycle driver was killed Thursday night after a motorcycle crash, according to South Carolina Highway Patrol. Troopers said the 41-year-old man was not wearing a helmet. He was driving northbound on California Road in York County on a 1997 Honda. He went off the side of the road and hit a tree. The driver was taken to the hospital but died there.
