Allentown,PA : One killed in early morning crash in Allen Township on May, Monday 7th 2018

ne person was killed in an early morning crash Monday in Allen Township, Northampton County.

Emergency radio dispatches around 2:30 a.m. reported a rollover crash on Kreidersville Rd just south of Lappawinzo Rd in Northampton.A photographer on scene said it appeared the vehicle involved in the crash, a red sedan, veered off the road around a curve heading north on Kreidersville Rd. The vehicle proceeded straight, went up a grass mound and reportedly went airborne. It appeared to have hit part of a garage and rolled, striking a second vehicle that was parked in the area.

Police and emergency personnel on scene located a deceased individual approximately 10 to 15 feet from the vehicle.

Kreidersville Road was shut down around 4:45 a.m. The Northampton County Coroner’s Office arrived on scene around 5 a.m.

Allen Township Fire Company, East Allen Township Fire Company and Northampton Borough Fire Police responded.

Kreidersville Rd will remain closed several hours. Pennsylvania State Police are investigating.
