Toledo, OH : One person injured in one-vehicle crash on Nevada and Forsythe on Friday morning, June 19, 2015

One person is in the hospital Friday morning following a violent overnight crash in east Toledo.

The crash happened around 1:30 a.m. Friday on Nevada and Forsythe.

Toledo police tell us the driver of an SUV slammed straight into an electric pole. Neighbors then spotted a male driver running away from the crash scene.

A female passenger was unconscious at the scene and was taken away by life squad. We're told she suffered serious injuries.

The driver still has not been located.
