Elizabethtown, KY : Northbound lanes of I-65 reopening near Elizabethtown after accidents involving semi trucks on Tuesday afternoon, July 28, 2015

A multi-vehicle accident involving an overturned tractor-trailer backed up traffic on the northbound lanes of Interstate 65 north of Elizabethtown on Tuesday afternoon into the evening.

After clearing the wreck, crews had to clean up diesel fuel at the scene of the accident, blocking all northbound lanes for several hours. The road was reopened as of 8 p.m., the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet said.
