Medway, ME : Hermon woman died in a single-vehicle accident on I-95 south of Medway on Sunday morning, Nov 29, 2015
Maine State Police say a woman was killed and her husband was injured in a one-car crash on Interstate 95 just south of Medway.
Police say 49-year-old Sandra Gifford of Hermon died instantly Sunday morning when the car she was driving went off the road in the median and overturned several times, coming to a rest on its roof. Her husband, 55-year-old Kevin Gifford, suffered non-life-threatening injuries. It wasn't clear why Sandra Gifford lost control of the car.
In a two-car crash in Blaine on Saturday, 64-year-old Nathan Smith was traveling east on Robinson Road when he crossed into the westbound lane and collided with a car driven by 19-year-old Spencer Garrison. Smith died at the scene and Garrison was treated and released. Both were from Blaine.
