LOVES PARK, WI : A 76-year-old Rockford man died on Wednesday, July 5, 2017

A 76-year-old Rockford man died Wednesday after the motorcycle he was riding hit the rear of a vehicle.

Roger Sundquist, 76, died shortly after the crash that occurred at 5:19 p.m. near the intersection of River Lane and Forest Hills Road in Loves Park, according to a news release from the Winnebago County Coroner's Office. Sundquist was thrown from his motorcycle when it hit the rear of a vehicle, according to the news release.

The Loves Park Police Department is investigating the crash.
