Sacramento, CA : 1 killed in rollover crash on Hwy. 50 in Sac County on Wednesday, 2nd January 2019

One person was killed and another person was injured Tuesday evening in a rollover crash on a Sacramento County highway, the Sacramento Metro Fire Department said.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The injured person was taken to the hospital for treatment, their condition is unknown.The crash happened just before 5 p.m. on westbound Highway 50 near Bradshaw Road.

Caltrans said the crash blocked the No. 4 and No. 5 lanes east of the Watt Avenue exit. The roadway reopened by 7:30 p.m.

No other details were released.
