Albany,NY : Dream holiday turns into nightmare as British woman stranded in New York after horror car crash on April, wednesday 19th 2017

A young British woman has been left stranded in New York after being seriously hurt in a car crash - and is expected to be in hospital for the next month.

But Nicole McLean has been overwhelmed by the support of family and friends back home. They have raised almost £5000 to help her through her ordeal.

Nicole was on a dream holiday in the Big Apple with her dad Dave and brother Ryan when she was knocked down.

The 24-year-old, from ?Peterhead, in Scotland, suffered multiple injuries and has been confined to a hospital bed with a neck brace since last week’s accident, reports the Daily Record .
