Chester, MA : New Hampshire Man Killed in One-Car Crash in Chester Wednesday night on June 25, 2014

A one-car crash left a driver dead on Middlefield St. in Chester Wednesday night.

State police Troopers in Russell responded to the crash around 9:00 p.m. in the area of 250 Middlefield St., where a 49 year-old man from Chester, New Hampshire died from his injuries.

The identity of that victim is not being released, as State Police work to notify his family and loved ones.

State Police believe that the car left the roadway, hit a utility pole, and rolled over. The driver was pinned inside and badly injured.

The crash is still under investigation, as authorities work to determine the circumstances of the crash. It is not believed that anyone else was involved.
