Leesburg, FL : Lori Dudley was killed in a fatal crash at US 27 and Tally Road On Saturday, August 20th, 2016
Leesburg Police are looking for a driver who fled on foot following a fatal crash.
LPD spokesman Lt. Joe Iozzi said the crash occurred around 9:34 p.m. Saturday, at US 27 and Tally Road.
The crash involved a 1997 silver Saturn sedan-wagon and a motorcycle that was driven by Lori Dudley, 54, of Holly Hill.
Dudley was pronounced dead at Leesburg Regional Medical Center.
The occupants of the Saturn ran from the crash scene, leaving the damaged vehicle at the intersection.
Leesburg officers caught one of the occupants a short time later, but the driver is still at large.
He is described as a Hispanic male wearing a red shirt.
The busy intersection was closed for about three and a half hours as police did a traffic homicide investigation.
