One day after a man was killed in a crash near Michigan Road and 71st Street, the coroner has released his identity.

The crash occurred on Wednesday just before 3 p.m. Officers say a silver truck heading westbound on 71st struck a car head on.

Francisco Ramos Sanchez, 52, was the driver of the car, and he died at the scene. The person in the truck was taken to a local hospital.

A third vehicle was also involved in the crash. Police say there’s no word on the condition(s) of its occupant(s).
