FINDLAY, OH : Single-car crash injures Findlay woman on Thursday, October 5, 2017
A 27-year-old Findlay woman was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital Thursday evening after the vehicle she was operating left the roadway and struck a utility pole.
According to a report from the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office, Stefanie Tate was northbound on U.S. 68 when her 1999 Volkswagen traveled off the east side of the roadway, struck the utility pole and came to rest in a field. Tate was taken to the Findlay hospital by Appleseed EMS for unspecified injuries. Two children who were passengers in the vehicle were not injured.
Tate was cited for operating a motor vehicle without reasonable control and failing to have a booster seat for one of the children.
Assisting at the scene were the Arlington Fire Department and Hancock Wood Electric.
