JO DAVIESS, IL : 2 airlifted after motorcycle crash in Jo Daviess Co. on Sunday, 15th September 2024

Two people were airlifted after a motorcycle crash in Jo Daviess County Sunday morning.

According to the Jo Daviess Sheriff’s Office at 11:42 a.m. Sunday officials learned of a motorcycle crash with injuries.

When deputies arrived they found that a motorcycle was traveling south on S. Blackjack Road and attempted a sharp turn when it went off the roadway, tipped over and ejected both the driver and the passenger.

The driver was identified as 65-year-old Lonny Black and the passenger as 63-year-old Karen Black, the Sheriff’s office said.
