Greenwood ,SC : CA man killed in Greenwood collision on Friday ,july 24th 2015

The Greenwood County Coroner's Office said a man was killed in a collision Friday.

Coroner Sonny Cox said 23-year-old Justin Copelan of Santa Rosa, California was traveling on Highway 72 Bypass just before 7 p.m. when his vehicle collided with another vehicle at East Laurel Avenue.

Cox said Copelan was pronounced dead at the scene. The manner of death was determined to be accidental due to blunt force trauma.

The collision remains under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Greenwood Police Department.
