Lasvegas ,NV : Motorcyclist killed and stops traffic along I-80 eastbound near the Painted Rock exit on Saturday , March 21st 2015

Traffic is delayed after a deadly motorcycle crash on I-80 eastbound near the Painted Rock exit.

Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Dave Gibson says just one motorcycle crashed and the man who crashed it died at the scene. There was a second motorcyclist riding with the victim who witnessed the crash.

NHP troopers say they are looking for someone who was driving a dark colored vehicle and saw the crash, but left the scene. Troopers say this driver is not at fault, but could have more information that would help with the investigation of the crash.

Gibson says the crash happened just before 6pm and traffic was at a standstill for nearly 2 hours while crews worked to clean up the crash.

The motorcyclist who died, has not been identified at this time.
