Westminster, CO : Car crashes through fence, garage as homeowner slept on early Thursday morning on July 10th 2014

Police in Westminster are investigating after car slammed through a fence and into the garage of a home.

The homeowner was sleeping at the time of the crash early Thursday and wasn't injured. Two people were in the Audi that crashed. The driver wasn't injured but the passenger was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Police believe the driver had been drinking before the crash but the person passed a field sobriety test.
