A Roane County man was injured Wednesday evening in a motorcycle accident on River Road.
Family said Paul Brandon Peck is being treated at University of Tennessee Medical Center and is in severe pain in a trauma room.
“He was with lifelong friends and just decided to take a ride on another friend’s bike and unfortunately it ended badly,” said sister Natasha Muir-Jackson.
Muir-Jackson said fortunately friends, including Kelvin “Smiley” Sargent, his girlfriend Sammie and Sargent’s mother Ernie got to him within minutes of the accident.
“We do not know what caused the accident. At this point we are all grateful he is alive,” said Muir-Jackson.
“We are praying and continue to pray for a speedy recovery.”
