Sacramento, CA : Three people were injured in a three-vehicle collision on Monday, September 25th 2017

Three people were injured in a three-vehicle collision Monday morning on Highway 101 in Oxnard, officials said.

The incident occurred just after 8 a.m. on the southbound 101 near the Oxnard Boulevard off-ramp, Ventura County fire officials said.

One person needed help being removed from a vehicle, authorities said.

The patients had been transported to St. John's Regional Medical Center and Ventura County Medical Center by 9 a.m.

California Highway Patrol officials reported the fast lane of the 101 blocked for about an hour, but lanes were reopened about 9:15 a.m.
