A Jacksonville man was riding his bike to work Monday evening when he was struck and killed by a police officer who witnesses say was going much faster than the posted limit.The crash occurred about 8 p.m. as the officer was heading south on Moncrief Road near Sycamore Street when the southbound cyclist crossed into the vehicle’s path, according to the sheriff’s office.
