MILWAUKEE, WI : 20-year-old dead after crash near 68th and Capitol, police search for unknown driver on Saturday, 5th October 2024

Milwaukee police are investigating a fatal crash that happened on Saturday, Oct. 5.

It happened around 11:28 p.m. near 68th and Capitol.

According to the Milwaukee Police Department, the driver of vehicle one, a 20-year-old, was traveling west on Capitol, when it collided with a second vehicle, which was traveling eastbound. The second vehicle was making a left turn when the crash happened.

The 20-year-old was taken to a local hospital but died at the hospital.

Police say the second vehicle fled the scene, and the vehicle was later located. Milwaukee police are still looking for the unknown driver of the vehicle.
