Moped driver seriously hurt in crash

Durham police are investigating a accident involving a moped and car. That occurred at 7:18 p.m. Saturday in the 100 block of N. Miami Boulevard near the Highway Patrol Station. The driver of the moped has not been identified was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.

Investigators were still on the scene Saturday evening. No charges have been filed and the cause had not been deteremined.
