MESQUITE, NV : Pennsylvania man dead in crash on Interstate 15 near Arizona state line northeast of Las Vegas Sunday August 9th 2015

Authorities say a 77-year-old Pennsylvania man died and a woman was injured in a fiery weekend crash involving their 2005 Jaguar sedan and a truck hauling pork products on an interstate highway about 70 miles northeast of Las Vegas.
The Clark County coroner on Monday identified the dead man as Harry Molchen of Ambridge, Pennsylvania.
Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Loy Hixson says the 75-year-old female driver, also from Ambridge, was hospitalized following the crash about 1:10 p.m. Sunday on I-15 near the Nevada-Arizona state line.
Hixson says the Jaguar veered across a dirt median into southbound freeway lanes into the path of the truck.
Hixson says the tractor-trailer ended up on a paved shoulder, where it caught fire.
The truck driver, a 56-year-old man from Council Bluffs, Iowa, escaped injury.
