Port Ludlow,WA : Two injured in wreck involving eight people on Highway 104 on July, Sunday 23th 2017

A three-car wreck involving eight people blocked state Highway 104 Sunday night, with only two people sustaining injuries.

The wreck closed down Highway 104 and blocked traffic in both directions for about a half hour, according to Port Ludlow Fire & Rescue Communications Officer Keppie Keplinger.

Just before 7 p.m., a vehicle turning onto Highway 104 from Teal Lake Road clipped the back of another vehicle westbound on the highway. The westbound vehicle then swerved into the opposite lane and collided with another vehicle traveling east.

A combined eight people where involved in the crash but only two suffered any injury.

According a press release from Keplinger, the two were transported to Jefferson Healthcare with minor injuries.

Port Ludlow Fire & Rescue responded to the wreck along with crews from East Jefferson Fire-Rescue, Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies and officers from the State Patrol.
