A one-vehicle crash on Interstate 90 near Spearfish has killed a Sturgis man.

The Highway Patrol says 30-year-old Kurtis Tallmage died at a Rapid City hospital from injuries he suffered in the crash Wednesday afternoon.

A Sturgis woman riding in the car suffered injuries that the patrol says are serious but not life-threatening.

Authorities say Tallmage lost control of the vehicle, and it went in the ditch and struck a post.
