LaBELLE, MO : A woman and her daughter were injured on April, Thursday 13th 2017
A woman and her daughter were injured in a Thursday afternoon crash in LaBelle involving a golf cart.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that a 1987 Club Car golf cart driven by Paige D. Kerr, 26, of LaBelle, was traveling south at Fourth and Congress streets at 3:05 p.m. The patrol said a passenger, Emmalee D. Kerr, 2, of LaBelle, fell from the cart as it was moving and the driver jumped from the vehicle to catch the passenger. The cart came to rest in a nearby yard.
Paige Kerr was taken to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill., with moderate injuries, and Emmalee Kerr was taken to Blessing with minor injuries.
The patrol was assisted by the Lewis County Sheriff's Department, Lewis County Ambulance and the LaBelle Fire Department.
